Bayonetta 3 is coming October 28. A new trailer confirms the release date alongside introductions of a brand-new character that warns Bayonetta of the world-ending threat of the homunculi.
Today's trailer starts off with a lot of familiar faces, including Luka, Enzo, and Rodin who confirms that the homunculi are part human. Later, Viola walks in to confirm that the homunculi are actually bioweapons made from people. If the homunculi aren't stopped, then "reality as we know it gets wiped out."

And for those who haven't played the original, Nintendo has also announced a physical re-release of the first Bayonetta set to launch later this year. No release date yet on this one, but stay tuned for more.
