The Bayonetta 3 release date trailer recently dropped, revealing a brand new playable character in the form of Viola and her demonic summon Cheshire. Much was revealed including a bit about the upcoming story and a little gameplay for Viola. Fortunately, additional information is offered on the e-shop page for Bayonetta 3, which is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Bayonetta will also be supported by other versions of herself (seemingly ripped from other timelines or universes), suggesting that the threat may be multiversal.
