Usually the splashiest Magic: The Gathering moments of the year are reserved for the Standard legal set releases, but lately some special supplemental sets have also managed to get steal the spotlight. Recent Secret Lair drops have been incredibly popular and, most recently, Magic Arena released Horizon Alchemy: Baldur's Gate as a supplement to the growing format.
With each new digital release it has become a bit of a tradition for Magic Arena to offer a special digital pre-release events featuring sealed and draft tournaments all throughout this week. Those events took place earlier this month as Baldur's Gate was released, but there are still plenty of ways to put the new cards to use in tournaments and casual play.
