Baldur’s Gate III has only been out for a few days, but developer Larian Studios is already issuing a second hotfix for the game. The update fixes a number of crashes and progress blockers, including a number of instances of save games not loading properly, but the fixes that are going to catch most people’s attention of a more… delicate… nature. In case you missed it, Baldur’s Gate III Hotfix #1 was released a couple of days ago and addressed a number of crashes and other issues – you can get more details here. An issue with cloud saves still persists, but since it’s tied to cross-save functionality, Larian has put it on the back burner until the PlayStation 5 version of the game launches.
Baldur’s Gate III is available now on PC. The PS5 version of the game arrives on September 6, and the Xbox Series X/S version likely won’t arrive until 2024 due to issues with getting co-op working on Series S. The game is already a huge hit, breaking into Steam’s all-time top 10 with over 800,000 concurrent players.
