Baldur's Gate 3 is a gorgeous game. So gorgeous in fact, that many are struggling to run it in Act 3, but I digress. It also has a bunch of companions that are very pleasing to the eye, and judging by our activity online, many of us have already filled up our capture library with screenshots of their pretty faces. Thankfully, that's going to get a whole lot easier.
On Twitter, Larian's director of publishing Michael Douse confirms that a photo mode is in the works. Like photo modes in other games, this will allow us to get more creative with our shots, and hopefully help us get higher-quality images of the Sword Coast and its inhabitants. Especially the inhabitants of our campsite, let's be real here.

In response to a fan, Douse says photo mode is "on the list" of features to add to Baldur's Gate 3. We don't have any details on what the mode will look like or even when it will be added, but at least we know it's on the way.
This won't just be great for landscape shots or photoshoots with our favourite companion, but also for getting a good look at the player character. Speaking from experience here, it isn't super easy to get your character's face on screen without entering a conversation. And even if you do resort to that, you have to deal with the various facial expressions your character pulls while they wait for you to select a dialogue option. This can result in some pretty goofy snaps, hardly complementing all the time we spent in character creator to perfect their features.
