Blizzard has responded to feedback about Ashes of the Embersoul, noting they have found a tuning bug. The primary stat granted by this trinket will be greatly increased in a future hotfix.

Khazak: For both specs it is significantly behind. This feels wrong when both specs can easily overcome the significant downside of the trinket.

Thanks for calling this out. We looked into this this morning and found a tuning bug that was covered up by the previous issues with errant dire circumstance procs during PTR testing. The primary stat granted by this trinket will be greatly increased in a future hotfix.As for the AMS interaction, it is unintended that players should ever be able to immune the haste tradeoff.
