The first post-launch patch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 dropped last night across PlayStation, Xbox and PC, but it’s not as significant an update as the team had hoped with some key fixes, tweaks and improvements being held back until the next available update.
Writing at the head of the patch notes, the teams at Sledgehammer and Treyarch said, “Due to unforeseen issues, not all of the changes scheduled for today’s update were able to be released. Our teams are hard at work to get key movement changes, Multiplayer weapon balancing, Zombies gameplay and stability fixes, and more into the next available update.”
That said, there’s still plenty of good fixes for the game, addressing plenty of issues that have been affecting players. On PC, for example, DLSS 3 is now available across the board for GeForce RTX 40 owners, a smattering of weapon rebalancing, progression and rewards fixes, and more.
Still, stay tuned for the more significant improvements, which will likely be along next week.
