Star Wars Outlaws has landed on PS5. Ubisoft's open world adventure — developed by Massive Entertainment — has long promised freeform sandbox gameplay married to typical Star Wars vibes. It's one of the year's biggest releases in terms of potential widespread appeal, but have you decided to pick it up?
Admittedly, though, we came away from the game a bit disappointed. «So many of its core pillars, from the lacklustre reputation system to the basic combat and stealth mechanics, feel incredibly surface-level,» is what we wrote in our Star Wars Outlaws PS5 review. «There's little depth to invest in, leaving the game a fun enough investment in the moment that'll prove forgettable further down the line. It's a perfectly fine video game, which feels like an anticlimax given the IP it's attached to,» we concluded. A 6/10.

I love Star Wars but not so much Ubisoft games, not to mention it'll be on sale soon. One thing I have been disappointed by is the apparent lack of actual Star Wars music, why bother recreating the Mos Eisley Cantina and not having the actual music from the movie playing? Madness
