Our more “classic” readers may remember the original game which was one of the highest-grossing arcade games of 1988 and went on to win a Golden Joystick Award and be ported to almost every system available, include the ZX Spectrum, Commodore Amiga, NES, and Amstrad. Since it’s original release there have been three sequels, Operation Thunderbolt (1988), Operation Wolf 3 (1994), and Operation Tiger (1998).
