Other than these devices, the company also has plans to announce the new M4 MacBook Air and Mac Studio next year with different versions of the M4 chip. The company is now expected to soon start production of the M4 MacBook Air, but the M4 Mac Studio has been potentially delayed.
The MacBook Air was redesigned only two generations ago, and we suspect that there will be no changes on the outside. However, the devices will be upgraded with the new M4 chip, which will open the device to dedicated Apple Intelligence features. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple will soon begin mass production of the M4 MacBook Air models, which are slated to launch in the first half of next year, possibly in the Spring.
Apple plans to introduce the new M4 chip to its entire Mac lineup, but the transition will be gradual rather than sudden.
