What are your expectations regarding the Apple iPhone 14 price? Several leaks and reports suggest that Apple is likely to hike the price of the iPhone 14 models. While some reports said that Apple is going to implement a price hike of $100 and some even said by $150. However, just a few days prior to the expected launch of iPhone 14 series, it is being said that the models may not get a price hike. As per earlier reports, the base iPhone 14 model is expected to come with a price tag starting from $799 (Rs. 64,000), iPhone 14 Max at $899 followed by iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max with price tags of $1,099 and $1,199 respectively. However, this has likely changed.
According to a new report by TrendForce, a market research firm suggests that Apple might not go for a $100 price increase and expects the price of the standard iPhone 14 to start from $749 (roughly 60,000). Explaining the pricing strategy, the report said, "the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are among four new models to be upgraded to the A16 (TSMC 4nm) processor. Upgrades such as initial starting memory capacity increasing to LPDDR5 6GB and 256GB, primary camera moving up to 48 million, Face ID Design changes, etc., are expected to raise starting prices. However, under pressure from rising global inflation and foreign exchange rates, Apple is expected to adopt a more cautious pricing strategy so as not to affect its sales performance."
According to the report, Apple can launch the iPhone 14 series at lower price and can later increase the same. The report suggests that the standard iPhone 14 can come with a price tag of $749 (roughly Rs. 60,000) and the cost can later go up to $799. The iPhone 14 Max can come with a starting price of $849 (roughly Rs. 68,000)
