After much speculation, we finally know the official name of the new iPhone model with a large display - iPhone 14 Plus. Both the non-Pro models come with minor upgrades but interesting nonetheless. The iPhone 14 features a 6.1 inch OLED display and the iPhone 14 Plus gets a 6.7 inch display. Both of them will be equipped with the A15 Bionic chipset which will contain the 6-Core GPU.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus gets the 12MP+12MP camera setup. However, according to the company it is using a bigger sensor for the main 12MP camera and an improved 12MP selfie camera. The phone promises improved low-light performance too. The selfie camera also comes with autofocus and a new Action Mode.
On connectivity end, The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus US models will get the support of 5G and e-SIM. Both the models also feature satellite connectivity and crash detection as on the Watch Series 8.
Apple iPhone 14 comes with a price tag of $799. While the iPhone 14 Plus is priced at $899. You will be able to pre-order the phones starting September 9, 2022. Also, Apple iPhone 14 will go on sale on September 16 and the Apple iPhone 14 Plus variant will go on sale on October 16, 2022.
