Apple CEO Tim Cook says “buy your Mom an iPhone” on Green Bubble debacle

The discussion was even picked up in the Epic Games vs Apple trial, where Apple's Craig Federighi said that iMessage is the only obstacle to iPhone families for considering an Android phone for their kids, and Apple doesn't want that to happen. However, in a recent interview, the topic of RCS was asked to Apple's CEO Tim Cook and his response was clever.

Based on a report from The Verge, Cook at the Vox Media's Code 2022 event was asked how Steve Jobs would feel about the idea of RCS in iMessage. Cook replied, “I don't hear our users asking that we put a lot of energy in on that at this point.” That means that while Google and some other tech giants are making a big deal about the RCS in iMessage thing, Apple isn't considering that option for its iPhone.
