Recently, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons player found out a creepy secret hidden on the back of the game's Wide Display Stand item. This non-craftable furniture piece was added as part of the Happy Home Paradise and 2.0 update, and is often used to design a shop or a stall on the island. Like most furniture, the Wide Display Stand can be heavily customized, with the grey variant hiding a creepy mysterious design.
Since the game's last major update in 2021, fans have been creating amazing islands with all the new furniture added to the game. Happy Home Paradise further enhanced creativity with the ability to remodel a villager's home. New Horizons' 2.0 update included furniture items with plenty of unique designs, totaling over 9,000 items after customization. By using a customization kit or talking to Reese and Cyrus at their shop, fans can change the color and pattern of their crafted or purchased furniture. Some items have more variants than others, as is the case with the Wide Display Stand.

The piece of furniture can only be purchased from either Nook's Cranny or the Planning Paradise office in the DLC archipelago. Depending on the shop, fans will need either 4,100 bells or 3,700 pokis. Before the Wide Display Stand can be bought in Happy Home Paradise, the item must be unlocked by developing a home for Agnes, Elise, or Naomi. The furniture is also unlocked when assigned by Lottie to design the Apparel Shop. The item has a combination of 40 different designs and colors.
