Lounging in has never been more fun after a player discovered a glitch that allowed them to lounge in hot tubs and other areas. However, this “new discovery” is actually a glitch fans already thought had been fixed a few updates back.
User JWJulie took to Reddit to document their discovery on how exactly a player could lounge in a hot tub in the game. Other players were surprised as this ability was the result of a glitch that they believed had already been patched out by developers. The glitch allows players to not only sit down in a hot tub but in pools and fire pits as well. Though the discovery is not new, fans were quick to celebrate the fact that it is still in the game.
In JWJulie’s original post dating two weeks back, they shared a video of their step-by-step guide on how to sit down in the hot tub. The steps included climbing down a ladder that had been placed diagonally against a flat item and then simply walking straight into the square tub. Other players were surprised at the “discovery” after believing the glitch had already been patched out due to another popular thread stating it was no longer possible. JWJulie tested the technique again two weeks later just in case, and to confirm it was still functional.
Nintendo needs to take on board this massive factor from Stardew Valley to ensure the success of any future Animal Crossing franchise releases.
