Alien: Rogue Incursion crawled out of an air duct during Sony's State of Play showcase, debuting some nightmare-inducing PSVR2 gameplay. Players must attempt to survive in a facility overrun with xenomorphs, stepping into the unfortunate shoes of an as-yet-unnamed protagonist stranded on the «inhospitable planet Purdan» in late 2024.
Created in Unreal Engine 5 and in collaboration with publisher 20th Century Games, Rogue Incursion should certainly appeal to fans of Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation. Developer Survios dares players to «experience the next level of action-horror in VR», and judging from the small snippet we've seen, that doesn't appear to be a baseless boast.

@Kiefer-Sutherland and gameplay that didn’t dip into the low 20s frame rate wise lmao
Two game minimum VR showcasing by Sony. Same as the last show and the show before. It’s pitiful, at the very least, get someone who can listen to people and try and get some ports of old PSVR1 games over.
I wouldn’t get too hyped for this just yet as Survivos work can and has been weak. Plus it’s multi platform so it might not receive the attention for the PSVR2 as it would for say the Quest 3.
Watching this trailer makes me sad of what happened with Alien Isolation. sigh...if only the game sold
