The story of Alan Wake 2 has officially come to a close after the launch of The Lake House. However, a new update is live with various fixes and gameplay changes. If you’ve struggled with the Painted’s grapple attack in the expansion, you’ll be happy to hear their damage is reduced.
The amount of healing items has also increased, bumping the odds of survival. The classicAlan Wake outfit is also fixed so that its many layers will no longer cause a holstered shotgun to hover. DualSense users facing non-stop vibrations from the adaptive triggers with the trauma pads or when carrying power cores should also note that they’ve been fixed.
Check out the full patch notes below. Alan Wake 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can read our review of The Lake House here. As for what’s next from Remedy, it’s working on Control 2 (with a teaser seemingly appearing in the expansion) and FBC: Firebreak, a co-op shooter spin-off launching next year.
