For more than four years now, the Epic Games Store has regularly given away free games. Every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, Epic offers at least one free PC game (sometimes two or three, though!). All you need to do to claim the free games is create a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication to start snagging freebies. You have a week to add the freebies to your library before the new one(s) take their place. At this point, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, and there's no sign that the program will stop any time soon. We keep this article up to date weekly to highlight both the current free games and next week's offerings.
From now until March 9 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, you can grab Rise of Industry, a sim set during the Industrial Revolution. You're job is to create a thriving empire of factories and businesses and produce necessary goods for the area around you. The world is procedurally generated, so if you like the loop, you might be able to get a lot of hours out of Rise of Industry.
Starting March 9, you can claim Call of the Sea, a narrative mystery set on a beguiling island in the South Pacific. Taking place in the 1930s, Call of the Sea follows your journey to find your husband, who went missing while on an expedition. With gorgeous set pieces and clever puzzles, Call of the Sea is well worth checking out.
We're keeping a running list of every free game that Epic users have been able to claim in the past. From AAA hits to indie darlings, Epic has really made its mark with free games. You can even snag these games if you don't have a powerful PC so you can play them if you ever get one. Look at the list below to see the frankly ridiculous list of free games that have been available.
