The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has received a new update, addressing an issue with stamps causing screen flickering.
Patch 1.2.1 is a minor one, but does include some fixes for various annoying issues that have been encountered. As said, one of the issues that has been fixed is an issue that occasionally caused the screen to flicker excessively when a large amount of stamps have been placed on the world map. Another issue that has been addressed is one that prevented players from obtaining the contents of treasure chests attached to Flux Constructs when the treasure chests vanished as a result of the Flux Construct’s attacks. Also, patch 1.2.1 fixes a bug that prevents an event from being triggered when talking to Koltin after collecting all of the Bubbul gems.
In addition, this patch fixes several other unspecified issues that should improve the overall gameplay experience for players. Unfortunately, no further details about these "other issues" have been shared by Nintendo. You can read the full patch notes for Tears of the Kingdom patch 1.2.1 here.
As always, this update should download automatically to your console if this feature has been enabled. The patch can also be downloaded manually via the game update setting.
