Tears of the Kingdom's final trailer aired last week and if you're anything like me, you've watched it 50 more times since and still haven't recovered. A lot of action was packed into less than four minutes, including first looks at lots of returning characters. Breath of the Wild players are concerned about the lack of Goron in the final trailer, though. Specifically the complete lack of Yunobo despite Riju, Sidon, and Tulin all making appearances.
For those unfamiliar with Yunobo, he aids Link in taking back control of a Divine Beast in Breath of the Wild when you head to Death Mountain. One of four companions Link has throughout his journey as he battles all four beasts before eventually heading to Hyrule Castle. That all three other companions were shown in the trailer and have been highlighted by Nintendo has given Yunobo fans good reason to be concerned.

Even though Yunobo is nowhere to be seen, there does appear to be one glimpse of an unnamed Goron that might well be the young hero we're all looking for. Someone, or something in the unlikely event it isn't a Goron, rolls up into a ball and whizzes past Link to cause quite the path of destruction. Zelda fans who have studied every single frame of the new trailer have also noticed the tip of what appears to be a Goron weapon when Link is fighting alongside other returning characters.
The hope is that Yunobo has been omitted from the trailer and all other recent publicity for Tears of the Kingdom not because Nintendo has some bad news to break, but because the Goron has undergone a makeover.
