One feature of the iOS Calculator app that is not so well known is the ability to delete the last digit without having to clear the display. This function is incredibly useful when typing calculations involving a long string of numbers and lets a user delete mistakes without losing their progress. In case a mistake was made in typing, the latest digit accidentally tapped can be deleted by either swiping left or right on top of the display.
