iPhone SE 3 and the its associated leaks! A never-ending saga until it finally launches. We have seen umpteen leaks on the web, revealing several aspects of the iPhone SE 2022, and even suggesting an alternate possibility. This time though, the leak related to the iPhone SE 3 concerns India. It is said that a couple of prototype units of this iPhone have been imported to India for testing purposes, along with two new iPad models.
The best bit is that the import information in the leak report published by 91Mobiles suggests that it could carry a price of $300. That is a lot lower than the launch price of the iPhone SE 2020. And, if Apple India ends up selling the new iPhone SE at the same price, it could be a killer deal for those looking to upgrade to a new 5G-enabled iPhone on a limited budget.
Then again, it could be a dummy price that does not involve the market-ready price elements. Hence, you should take it with a pinch of salt.
That said, such a low price on the iPhone SE 3 would not be surprising, given that it largely a mild update of the 2020 refresh, which itself was based on 2017’s iPhone 8, which again, was based on the 2014’s iPhone 6 design. Apple has been recycling this design for a long time now and that should now make it possible for Apple to sell it a cheaper price.
Previous leaks have confirmed the iPhone SE 3 to feature the 4.7-inch LCD display with fat bezels around it. The Touch ID sensor will be retained on the Home button. There will be a single 12MP camera on the rear and a 7MP front camera. It is likely to retain the same IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
