People who got both doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been issued with a validation certificate that shows their vaccination status. Since the Covid-19 pandemic shows no sign of abating, the vaccination certificate becomes a necessary document for various purposes like travelling and more. Hence, everyone is required to carry it everywhere. However, it's not always possible to keep a hard copy of it handy. To make it easily accessible anywhere anytime you can keep a digital copy of it on a smartphone or iPhone. In some good news for iPhone owners, Apple, with its iOS 15.1 update, now offers a new feature allowing them to store and access a digital copy of COVID-19 vaccination and test certificates on the Health app. iPhone users can upload their vaccination status to the Health app and it will create a vaccination card in Apple Wallet.
Notably, the iPhone must be updated to iOS 15.1 to access this feature. Once added, users can access their COVID-19 vaccine details any time by using Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode. Upon logging in, It will show your name, vaccine type, dates of doses, issuer, and QR code.

Steps to add Covid-19 vaccination card to Apple Wallet via QR code
1. Open the camera app on your iPhone and scan the QR code that you have been provided by the healthcare provider after vaccination.
2. Once the QR code is scanned, a Health app notification will be displayed on the screen.
3. Next, tap on the Health app notification and click on Add to Wallet & Health to save the COVID-19 vaccine details to the Apple Health and Apple Wallet.
4. Next, tap on Done
