Artem Chigvintsev is continuing to recover from pneumonia after being forced to withdraw from the latest Dancing With the Stars tour. The American reboot of Strictly Come Dancing has featured Artem's talents since 2014 and has paired him with celebrities such as Patti LaBelle, Mischa Barton, and now-fiancée Nikki Bella. With previous experience including other hit competitions like So You Think You Can Dance?, the Russian-American professional dancer has been popular with fans of the show for years.
Artem and his partner Kaitlyn Bristowe of Bachelor Nation were partners for DWTS season 29. Dancing With the Stars: Live! kicked off on January 7 and runs until March 27. Other dancers besides Kaitlyn performing include Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, Sasha Farber, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, and Gleb Savchenko. While Artem was also scheduled to join the tour, his last-minute illness caused him to drop out to the dismay of fans and colleagues.
