Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now download the service's newest addition, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members and Star Wars fans who skipped the game's release could be in for a treat.
Following Jedi: Survivor's rocky launch on PC and certain consoles, the game eventually received updates that mostly fixed its various optimization issues. However, these initial problems caused Jedi: Survivor to take quite a hit early on, as it received poor user reviews on Steam and elsewhere. Now though, the game runs smoothly and is regarded by most as a worthy successor to the acclaimed Jedi: Fallen Order thanks to its fresh world and skillful combat that builds on the first game.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was added to Game Pass Ultimate on April 25 via EA Play, which offers qualifying members other popular titles like Madden 24, theDead Space remake, Battlefield 2042, and much more. Jedi: Survivor begins five years after the conclusion of Jedi: Fallen Order as Cal Kestis continues his fight against the Empire. Like the first game, he meets plenty of colorful characters and challenging enemies during his journey, but this time around the game features more lightsaber stances, a fast travel system, and a larger world, among other improvements. However, users might need to make some room on their hard drives sinceJedi: Survivor comes in at about 134 GB on Xbox and 155 GB on PC.
Now that it's been almost a year since Jedi: Survivor's release, fans are hoping for a third game to be eventually announced. A recent Respawn job listing seems to have basically confirmed that a third title is in the works, and a comment made last year by Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan also virtually confirmed that a follow-up is coming. However, for now, fans will need to keep waiting for any official word on the matter.
All Game Pass subscribers can also download Another Crab's Treasure, a Soulslike adventure game set under the sea and just added to the service on April
