The next wave of new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in October have been announced, and for anyone looking for sci-fi horror, incredibly in-depth city-building, and samurai action, there's a lot to look forward to.
Kicking things off this month is Like a Dragon: Ishin, a remake of a game that was once considered to be an impossible game to port to Western audiences. Set in feudal Japan, the game follows Sakamoto Ryoma in his quest for revenge during the dawn of industrialization in that nation. It'll be available from today on Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud devices. Next month will also see the day-one release of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which is set after Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and during Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
October 19 will see F1 Manager 2023 added to Game Pass, a game that puts you in the pit lanes of F1 as you manage a team and work toward podium finishes, and October 24 is headlined by the release of Cities: Skylines II. In this municipal management game, you'll be building your own city from scratch as you juggle the needs of your citizens, react to natural disasters, and manage your economy.
Arriving just in time for the Halloween season on October 26 is Dead Space. The recent critically acclaimed remake of the 2008 horror game, Dead Space will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play members on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud devices. Like the original game, this remake is a terrifying dive into sci-fi survival-horror as you struggle to stay a step ahead of disturbing monsters lurking inside the bowels of the USG Ishimura spaceship.
