Some hotfixes were pushed on the weekly reset to the Xal'atath affixes, creating a new bug with the Oblivion affix and giving players a new buff from the Voidbound affix!
Xal'atath's Bargain: Oblivion is this week's affix and Blizzard pushed some hotfixes to try to do something to it — we're not sure what exactly. However, in doing so, it seems that they've somehow made the enemy buff Shattered Essence apply to players when it impacts an enemy. However, any Orbs soaked by the players after getting one stack increases BOTH stacks of the buff.
We're not sure if this actually increases player damage at the moment, but if so this is a big bug as it can increase player damage by up to 100% in addition to the mastery buff.
The Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound seems to be rated the lowest by many members of the community, and this may change player's opinions as the player buff to be much more potent.
This is now a massive buff for killing the Void Emissary — granting 20% damage, 10% damage reduction and 9 seconds of cooldown reduction. Hopefully this helps players feel much better whenever they kill the Void Emissary!
