Neve Gallus is a shadowy figure operating within the bustling metropolis of Minrathous in . As an investigator with ties to the secret Shadow Dragons, she is part of the city's underbelly. However, she works to protect its vulnerable citizens from the various threats that lurk in the darkness, so she's more of an antihero. Neve has a very sharp wit and a playful but cautious demeanor, and she prefers to observe from the sidelines rather than be the center of attention.
Though she initially maintains a certain distance, her guarded exterior gradually softens as she forms connections with Rook, so you'll know how close you're getting over time. If you want to romance her, you will need to make the right decisions because doing the wrong things can lock him out of a romance with her forever. So you should have a good plan when going after her because she's one of the romanceable companions in which you can scare away without meaning to.
There are a few key choices and actions that influence Neve's approval and romance path in. Early on, deciding whether to bring Neve or Harding to confront Solas impacts Neve's approval. Later, during the On Blighted or Deadly Wings quest,choosing to help Minrathous greatly increases Neve's approval and avoids a hardened lock.
