It seemed like only a matter of time before John Laurinaitis was ousted from his role as WWE's Head Of Talent Relations amid ongoing investigations into alleged misconducts by he and Vince McMahon, and Bruce Prichard has taken on that job. The former Johnny Ace was placed on administrative leave, and talent has reportedly been informed that they'll be dealing with Prichard as Head Of Talent Relations moving forward.
Prichard has long been one of McMahon's most trusted allies, so it's not surprising to see him take this mantle back up on an interim basis. He was Head Of Talent Relations prior to this and has generally been considered the most powerful person in WWE who isn't related to Vince. As far as creative goes, pretty much everything already ran through Prichard. Generally, the Head Of Talent Relations is who performers speak to when they are unhappy with their booking, and this institutes an odd backstage dynamic that is concerning to at least some backstage.

In a recent post, Fightful notes that "Another [person] said that they'd had multiple texts from talent stating that there is concern about Bruce handling both roles, because now if you want time off, you have to ask the person who effectively is your filter between creative and Vince McMahon." Someone else apparently joked that McMahon "only knows three people," which is why Prichard continues to gain so much power within WWE.
The Head Of Talent Relations title is on a temporary basis for Prichard, but for the time being, he just might be the most influential person backstage besides McMahon himself. That may have been the case already but with these new dueling roles, and Stephanie McMahon
