Cody Rhodes was the first wrestler to jump from AEW to WWE, but based on a handful of recent reports, it doesn't sound like he'll be the last. The American Nightmare made his surprise return during WrestleMania 38 and tore the house down with Seth Rollins. Those two are still involved in a feud, with the likely blowoff coming at the upcoming Hell In A Cell premium live event on May 5th.
The former executive vice president of AEW has been treated like a king since returning to WWE. He's been featured front-and-center in advertising, has received a ton of television time and has been given a "Countdown To Cody" timer on Monday Night Raw so that fans know exactly when he'll appear on air. In other words: Rhodes is in the midst of a push of a lifetime now that he's back in WWE.

The American Nightmare has taken the ball and ran with it, and it sounds like a handful of AEW wrestlers have noticed the opportunity he's been given since making the jump. Bryan Alvarez recently spoke about that on Wrestling Observer Radio, stating that WWE has treated Rhodes so well that the sense behind the scenes in AEW is that more wrestlers would be willing to make that jump now.
That's an interesting development, to say the least, especially with news emerging earlier this month that some talent in AEW were growing increasingly frustrated behind the scenes. MJF, in particular, has become the poster boy for these issues, going so far as to no-show a scheduled meeting with fans during Double Or Nothing weekend. Wardlow destroyed him in the opening match on the card, and it's unclear when he'll be back on AEW television.
