India Post Recruitment 2022: Apply for 24 Staff Car Driver jobs; 7th Pay Commission salaries

India Post Recruitment 2022: India Post, Ministry of Communications Department of Posts has invited job applications for filling up 24 vacancies of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) (General Central Service, Gr-C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the office of the Senior Manager (JAG), Mail Motor Service, Chennai. It can be noted that the pay for the post will be provided based on the Level 2 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC) which is Rs. 19,900.

Candidates who are eligible and interested in the post will be able to apply for the same by visiting the official website of India Post at indiapost.gov.in. The last date to apply for the post of Staff Card Driver is July 20, 2022. Also, the period of probation is of two years. Here is all you need to know about the vacancy.

1. Deputation/Absorption of the officials in the Department of Posts: From amongst the regular Dispatch Rider (Group C) and Group C employees in the Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 (Level 1 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission) in the Department of Posts who possess a valid Driving Licence for light and heavy Motor Vehicles and on the basis of a Driving test to assess the competence to drive light and heavy motor vehicles.

2. Other Ministries of the Central Government and Armed Forces Personnel: From the officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on a regular basis or regular Group C employees in Pay Band-1, rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 (Level 1 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) who fulfill the necessary qualifications as under:
