Announced in China previously, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro in India seems more likely to be the Reno 8 Pro+ model. That means we could be seeing the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip doing duties under the hood, a 120Hz OLED display, Oppo’s MariSilicon chip for cameras, new camera sensors, and faster 80W charging – all wrapped in what seems to be a beautifully designed body made of glass and metal. The Reno 8 Pro could be priced under Rs. 45000.
The Oppo Reno 8 will be the more affordable variant of the Reno 8 Pro, despite having a similar design and same camera sensors. This one will miss out on the MariSilicon chip, have a 90Hz OLED display, a Dimensity 1300 chip, and the same 80W wired charging. The Reno 8 could be replacing the Reno 7 that was launched earlier in 2022.
