SSC Constable Exam 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has shared an important notification for job seekers regarding the conduct of an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Constables. SSC started the registration of the exam for Constable (Driver)-Male in Delhi Police. The recruitment drive is to fill 1411 posts of constables, which includes 1270 posts for the Open category and 141 posts for the Ex-Serviceman category. The registrations for the examination will close on July 29. The interested candidates who are planning to apply for the examination should know that they need to have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board. Also, the candidates must be citizens of India with an age limit of 21-30 years as on July 1, 2022.
However, SC and ST candidates have an age limit relaxation of five years, while OBC and ex-servicemen have 3 years of relaxation. Sports persons of distinction who have represented the Country at an International level in sports during preceding three years from the closing date of receipt of online applications have a relaxation of 5 years.
The application fee for the examination of SSC constable is Rs. 100. All the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-servicemen who are eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee for the exam.
