Wolverine & Hulk Cosplay Brings Life-Size Marvel Rivalry To Life
Few heroes are as punishing and powerful as the Hulk and Wolverine, and in new cosplays, both heroes are ready for action in life-size ensembles showing off one of Marvel Comics' great rivalry. Cosplayer @hummin_h2 and @therealweaponx created looks that show off the sheer size and strength of the Hulk and Wolverine respectfully, echoing back to their very first battle in the comics that saw the introduction of Logan.
The Hulk is one of Marvel Comics' original and most iconic heroes, debuting in The Incredible Hulk #1 by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee back in 1962. The Jade Giant would come into conflict with Wolverine in the popular mutants' first-ever appearance inThe Incredible Hulk #181 by Roy Thomas, Len Wein, and John Romita Sr., where the two battled for the first time. The pair have been pitted together and against one another over the years, as the Hulk's pure rage and strength and Wolverine's claws, aggressive nature, and healing factor make them formidable opponents. In a new image published on Instagram by cosplayer @hummin_h2 with @therealweaponx, Wolverine and the Hulk strike a pose as the two Marvel heroes are brought to life. The life-sized Hulk is spectacular, as the cosplay is huge as he towers over Wolverine while having a menacing look on his face. Meanwhile, Wolverine looks like he took a beating in the fight, as he sports battle-damaged armor as the Jade Giant hulks over him. Still, Wolverine isn't ready to give up, as his claws are unsheathed and ready for round two despite taking a beating — evident by the wear on his mask.
