In 1968, Marvel created a parody crossover starring an off-brand DC Comics' cast that took notes from the hit Broadway musical and film, West Side Story. Not Brand Echh #6brings together a pair of star-crossed lovers whose comic homes and teams prevent them from coming together. The couple match-up is certainly one that fans would not be expecting.
Not Brand Echh is a Marvel Comics parody series that was published from 1967 to 1969. Within it, some of the company's best creators made fun of their own heroes and other comic characters, while throwing in dozens of pop culture references of the era. This allowed for unofficial crossovers between variant Avengers and Justice League teams to have run-ins with one another. In one particular instance, their encounters brought together a variant of Doctor Strange and Wonder Woman — though it wasn't meant to be.

«Best Side Story» has the creative team of Stan Lee, Gary Friedrich, Roy Thomas, Tom Sutton, L. P. Gregory, and Irving Forbush. Within it, the Marbles and Echhs — two rival gangs representing Marvel and DC respectively — fight one another regularly. However, Wotta Woman, Queen of the Glamazons, (a variant of Wonder Woman) finds herself falling for Doctor Deranged (a variant of Doctor Strange). These Earth-665 counterparts are torn apart by their teammates, particularly since Wotta Woman is the flame of Green Lampburn (variant of Green Lantern).
