To learn more about the Wind Shear Druid build for Season 4, check out our Diablo 4 Wind Shear Druid Endgame Build Guide.
The Wind Shear Druid sits on the backline of encounters and casts their Poison Wind Shear Projectiles to kill off regular enemies, Elites, and Bosses. It employs three different Defensive Skills — Cyclone Armor, Blood Howl, and Debilitating Roar — to increase its Fortify and Attack Speed, push enemies back, and traverse down hallways in retreat or across rooms for better positioning. Our Passive use of Wolves helps in a strangely tremendous way by redirecting enemies' focus away from us, all without any specific Taunt ability.
Our single-target damage is healthily accounted for with how much we juice our Attack Speed Bonus to make Basic Attacks rapidly launch from our 2Her. We excel at killing Bosses, it's what we do best. AoE packs can and do easily die with this build after being dotted up, but as of now, there is no way to shoot a spread of Wind Projectiles. This requires a keen eye and understanding of positioning to get effective coverage down hallways and within rooms, i.e., we always want to line up our casts to hit as many enemies as possible. This is why we employ Godslayer Crown as BiS.
Here I am at Level 90 with no Uniques and a generous lack of Attack Speed
