Publisher Square Enix and developer ACQUIRE have released Octopath Traveler II for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Microsoft Store for $59.99. A bundle containing both Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II is also available for $74.99. Both games are also available via Xbox Game Pass until January 2026.

Octopath Traveler II first launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on February 24, 2024.

Alongside the Xbox and Windows release, a free update for Octopath Traveler II is now available across all platforms, which adds the new mode “Extra Battles” to the title screen, which is available after clearing the story. Additionally, the credits and various graphics have been edited, and new tutorial text has been added for the update additions.
