Square Enix has released the preliminary patch notes for Final Fantasy 14's highly anticipated Patch 7.0, which will arrive soon alongside the Dawntrail expansion.
Revealed on its website, the incredibly long patch notes outline everything changing in the massively multiplayer online game and, interestingly, what isn't changing yet.
Square Enix said the new raid, the Arcadion, will arrive with Patch 7.01, while the Savage version and the Cenote Ja Ja Gural treasure hunt will arrive with Patch 7.05.
The update still adds plenty of new content, of course, including new areas, quests, quality-of-life improvement, a huge graphical upgrade, the Viper and Pictomancer jobs, plenty of raids and dungeons, and much more.
Square Enix categorized the list of changes by the different versions of Final Fantasy 14, noting players must own up to Stormblood to access the 2.X changes, Shadowbringers to access the 5.X changes, Endwalker to access the 6.X changes, and finally Dawntrail to purchase the 7.X changes. The full patch notes are available below.

The developer has also asked players not to spoil things as the early access period launches. Only those who preorder can play early, but given the amount of content being added in Dawntrail, it will likely take most players a long time to get through it.
*Players who met this new aether current requirement prior to the release of Patch 7.0 will unlock the ability to fly in each area.
Patch 7.0 introduces myriad quests in addition to the main scenario. As such, there may be cases where the patch notes only cite the initial quest in a series, or omit quests entirely to prevent spoilers. We encourage players to explore and discover what new stories and adventures await.
So that all players
