Not only is there the pre-expansion update coming soon to World of Warcraft, but the actual expansion itself isn't far away at all. Preparing for The War Within Pre-patch
If you like to farm for mounts or achievements, some will be much harder to get once Dragonflight has passed and The War Within has arrived.

- Complete World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's campaign. If you care about the story, ensuring you are all up to date on the campaign is vital. It'll help fill in the gaps about the Primalists and help you prepare for the upcoming story of The War Within.
- Run Raids and Mythic+ Dungeons. If possible, you want to be as geared up as possible when you begin to walk through the pre-patch. Some of the enemies may be overtuned, which can make brutal fights even harder. Having a good gear level will help massively with that.
- Try out some PvP. If you've never done PvP, now is a great time to get stuck. You can get PvP-specific gear, collect currencies, and exchange them for mounts and titles if you are prepared for a lengthy grind. Keep in mind that you don't have long to complete these things.
- Level up your Professions. While this may seem like something that isn't important, it can help boost your character. Not only can you get potions that will buff you, but you can then go on to complete Standing Orders for other people to earn some quick gold. There are plenty of professions to choose from, and many of them are highly beneficial, especially in the late game.
- Complete Non-Awakened Raids. At the moment, the three Raids in Dragonflight are classed as non-awakened. Once the patch has gone live, these raids will be permanently awakened, meaning you may find it
