The Mortuary Assistant – Definitive Edition will be available across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch on 2nd August 2024. It will also be a free update for the PC version of the game.
Launching for PC in 2022, The Mortuary Assistant gained a quick following for all its spooky, haunted vibes – this always goes down well with Twitch streamers.
The game puts you in the role of Rebecca Owens, a graduate in mortuary sciences and new apprentice at River Fields Mortuary, but as if having to work with corpses wasn’t already eerie and unsettling enough, it quickly becomes clear that the mortuary is afflicted by an otherworldly spirit or creature. A phone call from the mortician themself makes it clear that you’re now trapped inside and cannot leave.
