Marvel Studios has shared the final trailer for its highly-anticipated superhero threequel, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The film will finally arrive in theaters next week on Friday, July 26.

Unlike previous trailers, the newly-released video provides fans with a more serious look at Marvel Studios’ first-ever R-rated movie. It highlights the importance of the titular duo’s mission, as Deadpool stresses how much he needs Wolverine’s help to save his world. The final trailer also confirmed that Jackman will be portraying a new variant of the fan-favorite hero, who is far different from the character featured in the original X-Men films. In addition, the video also unveiled the long-awaited return of Dafne Keen as X-23 from 2017’s Logan.
Deadpool & Wolverine movie is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay written by Reynolds, Levy Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. The threequel features returning Marvel stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson/ Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Logan/ Wolverine, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. They will be joined by MCU newcomers The Crown’s Emma Corrin and Succession’s Matthew Macfadyen have also joined the cast to play the roles of Cassandra Nova and TVA agent Paradox, respectively.
