is currently making waves around the world and having a great run at the global box office. Fans have particularly reacted well to the bucketload of cameos witnessed in the movie. One of the unexpected appearances happened to be that of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, who was seen crying in a brief snippet. Ryan Reynolds has since come out to tease the reason behind Thor’s breakdown in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Without answering the question, Ryan Reynolds has conveyed that he is aware of the reason why Thor was crying in Deadpool & Wolverine.
In the initial moments of the film, the Merc with a Mouth shares a conversation with Mr. Paradox at a Time Variance Authority facility. During their interaction, the TVA inadvertently shows Reynolds’ Wade Wilson a glimpse of his supposed future as an Avenger. In the clip, Thor is seen shedding a tear while holding a fatally wounded Deadpool. Before an explanation behind the scene could be given, Mr. Paradox quickly switches over to another topic. Fans have debated heavily over the sequence, coming up with multiple theories to clarify Thor’s role in the movie.
Ryan Reynolds has since addressed the mystery himself, stating that he is aware of the context behind Thor’s cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. In a post shared by him on X (formerly Twitter), the Canadian-American actor wrote, “I know why Thor was crying. I can’t unknow it.” Nevertheless, he shied away from actually sharing the reason behind Chris Hemsworth’s much-discussed appearance.

Originally featuring Loki, the clip was digitally edited to replace Tom Hiddleston’s character with an injured Deadpool.
