It’s time once again to round out the week with a look back at what’s been keeping our controllers, mice and keyboards busy. For me, it’s been a week of Overwatch 2, and balancing where the best place to play it on the go is, whether that’s on Steam Deck where it looks great but chews through the battery, or Switch where it looks a bit rough and ready, but gets through more than six or so rounds. He says, “After beating Skyrim, I’ve put my Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough on pause – while I’m really enjoying my time in Night City, I’ve barely had time to touch my PS5. Or, maybe I’ve just got the Bethesda bug? Fallout: New Vegas has shot to the top of my playlist and while it’s definitely showing its age (I’m playing on Steam Deck with no mods) I’m totally absorbed in its world, weighing up which of the warring factions to side with.”
Gamoc played Elden Ring this week, and he says, “It is
