With only the second day of Early Access partially under our belts, these Tier List rankings are based on data from both the Beta and the initial night of launch. These tiers represent the estimates of where we think the various Professions will fall over time once the market settles, and include the variable of spending extensive time in trade chat.
The cream of the crop, we're expecting these three Professions to bring in the most gold, both in the short and long term.
Blacksmithing has the potential to be particularly lucrative, given the desire we saw for it in Dragonflight — and those same reasons follow it into The War Within. Weapon crafting in particular will be in high demand early in the expansion's lifecycle, and while Armorcrafting may be more sporadic, the right piece can still fetch a good price. Be warned, though — this Profession will require a lot of time spent in Trade Chat to maximize its potential.
Tailoring is much the same, with the added fun of bags! Profession bags have gotten a revamp in The War Within, and with new bonus effects that directly affect your effectiveness in crafting and gathering, these are likely to be a hot item that can command a premium.
