New Crystal Vale Raid & Prince Thunderaan Boss in Season of Discovery Phase 5
With Season of Discovery Phase 5 just around the corner, developers have shared an update covering some of what is in store, including a new raid — The Crystal Vale!

New: The Crystal Vale Raid
Fight Prince Thunderaan reimagined as a true world boss tuned for 20 players but allowing up to 40. This encounter is available to all players regardless of whether you’re on the Thunderfury questline. Players can earn exciting new loot designed for all classes and specializations. Did someone say, “Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?” You’ll be able to earn this legendary weapon which has had a few additional improvements for Season of Discovery.
We have had some very interesting findings from data mining relating to Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
Possible Thunderfury-Themed Cloak New Weapon Models Datamined
This model of Stormwrath, Sanctified Shortblade of the Galefinder appears to be the bottom half of the Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker model.
Meanwhile Drape of the Windlord is the same cloak as Prince Thunderaan wears. It would make perfect sense for Prince Thunderaan to drop this item himself!
On r/classicwow, Emsarrev, previously spotted a new portal in Silithus on the PTR, and given its location many players were already speculating that it would involve Prince Thunderaan and the Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker quest line.
