Recently, a Reddit user and first-time cosplayer by the name of Kerillian555 impressed fans with their posts revealing the cosplay. In the comments responding to many, Kerillian555 even explains some of the creative processes and mentions that the project took around two and a half months to complete.
By using a red design for the armor, this cosplay stands out even more strikingly against the green backdrop Kerillian555 used for their photos.
Though much of the inspiration for the armor and weapon was taken from , Kerillian555 notes in the comments that the helmet features some of the look of the pilot helmet in . This look blends nicely and creates an overall cosplay effect that had fans such as Kronic-Spirit calling it one of the best they've seen, especially for a first-time cosplay creation.
Kerillian555 noted that the armor and weapon were made mainly using EVA foam, with the visor making creative use of a colored plastic paper holder.
