The War Within Early Access is in full swing, and some eagle-eyed players have discovered the source of a new pet — players can earn Parrlok via a cross-promotion with Discord involving streaming World of Warcraft in a direct message (DM), group chat, or a server of your choice.

Brought to our attention by All The Things user Amittai, this promotion runs until September 8th, giving Early Access and Regular Release players both plenty of time to complete the quest.

Discord Parrlok Promotion Rules and FAQ

Earning Parrlok is simple — once you're in a DM, chat, or server, simply choose «Go Live» to stream World of Warcraft for 15 minutes — you'll have a progress bar that indicates how close you are to earning your pet.

Once the quest is complete, you'll be given a code to redeem — head to the Battle.net launcher, click your profile, and choose «Redeem Code.» From there, it's just a quick copy and paste until Parrlok is yours!

Parrlok is a recolor of several previous Trading Post pets, such as Garrlok and Marrlok.
