In Chapter Four, once you've followed Bajie into the Webbed Hollow, you will inevitably reach Verdure Bridge shrine. Like many checkpoints in, there are multiple paths to explore from Verdure Bridge. There are two ways to reach Elder Amourworm from this location. One is direct and one is guarded by spider cocoons. To reach Elder Amourworm directly, follow the left side path across a bridge that leads to an immediate archway. Before entering the archway, a cut scene will play where one of the Seven Sisters warns of danger ahead. Go through the archway.
Hey, look, free treasure! Inside the archway, there are five unguarded golden chests. Open each of them to collect special items. Now, about that the Sister spoke of. Surprise, it’s Elder Amourworm. The other side of the archway leads outside the Webbed Hollow to a cliffside boss arena. Drop to the lower level and get ready to face Elder Amourworm. There are two ways I suggest preparing for the fight. First, boost the monkey’s poison resistance, if you haven’t already done so. Second, make sure Mana is full. The fight itself will be explained in the next section.
