Game Science has released a new major patch for Black Myth: Wukong, offering several fixes and balance adjustments. It addressed crashes occurring in certain conditions while resolving an issue that prevented 100 percent completion. Even the English voiceover has seen some corrections.
However, more importantly, it “improves” the combat experience against Yaoguai King “Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master.” Whether that means buffs or nerfs, you can at least rest assured of not being thrown outside invisible walls during the encounter with it or the Yaoguai Chief. Other bugs, like enemies getting stuck or becoming unbeatable in specific conditions, have also been addressed.
Other changes include the Spikeshaft Staff increasing max Mana by 30, Insect armor increasing medicinal effects considerably, and reducing the narrowed timing window for Rock Solid due to The Great Sage Talent “Sound as A Bell (Fuming Ears)”. Check out the full patch notes below, but be warned. Despite its size being approximately 1.7 GB, you need to reserve about 92 GB of free space temporarily. On the bright side, it doesn’t have to be the same drive.
Black Myth: Wukong is available for PS5 and PC. It’s also in development for Xbox Series X/S, with a release date TBA.
