Wayfinder Previews Second Mid-Season Update, The Reaver King
Wayfinder is previewing The Reaver King, the second part of the mid-season update. Launching in the coming weeks, the update will add new story quests, new weapons, and a new narrative and danger to Skylight to investigate and defeat. This danger is Aturach, The Reaver King, and his minions.
There will be four new main story quests in the update, in addition to some side quests. In the new main story quests, you’ll continue your own journey and check in on new developments in Evenor’s efforts against the Gloom. “The Hollow Heart” is the quest that will set you on course to take on The Reaver King and help resolve mysteries to help beat back the darkness.
“Mid-season update 2 is on its way, and with it, the way to the Hollow Heart is open. Once a paradise of primal power and a place of worship to the Woodwen people, it too has fallen to darkness. Now the Reaver King has set his sights on the Beacon. If Skylight is to be saved, Aturach and his Hollow Ones must be slain.”
The other three new main quests, Wormwood — Hunt, Roots of Evil, and The Final Battle — Hunt, are coming to let you uncover new secrets, learn more about Evenor, and of course, earn some rewards.
Four new sidequests are also on the way, interspersed along the journey. “Eclipse” will start you off. “Answer Arsenal’s summons and start on your path to unlock the essence to craft a formidable piece of gear,” with the weapon Eclipse coming for your efforts. You’ll unlock two hunts and also secrets of the mysterious Reaver Woods. There’s also a new challenge for a third imbuement slot.
